Pat Fournier, president of The Hearing Place, has been a hearing aid practitioner since 1988. He has fit thousands of people with hearing instruments over the past 27 years, and he is sincerely inspired by his clientele. He has BC-HIS Board Certification in Hearing Instrument Sciences and is a member of the Acoustical Society of America. He has been President of the Montana Hearing Society for the past 9 years and is very active at the state level in certification issues to protect consumers and validate practitioners. He has three children and two grandchildren. In his spare time, he enjoys Angels baseball games and lots of fishing in the rivers around the state.
Sue Sherman is the business manager for The Hearing Place. She was born and raised in Montana and has worked in the service industry for over 25 years, which included managing and owning her own restaurant. However, Sue has truly found her niche in serving the hearing impaired population. She is invaluable to The Hearing Place with her commitment to customers, knowledge of the products, and ability to keep customers updated with mailings and newsletters. Sue is currently studying for her license to dispense hearing aids. Being a Montana native, Sue naturally enjoys the out-of-doors, especially camping and fishing. She has two grown sons and three grandchildren.
Vicki Hauser, a California transplant of 20 years, is office manager of our Great Falls location. She has been a part of the staff at The Hearing Place since December 2010 and hopes to be here for many years to come. She has a varied background, including a Master’s Degree in Counseling/Psychology, but most of her experience has been in areas of service to others. Vicki truly enjoys making life better for those around her, and she finds that her job at The Hearing Place lets her do that on a daily basis. When Vicki isn’t at the at the office, she enjoys spending time with her family, including several of the four-legged kind, camping, writing short stories, and creating faux stained glass pieces. Vicki’s favorite saying is “Life is as it should be,” and she tackles each day with that same positive attitude.
Lisa Leanna has been helping people hear better since 1995. She began in Wisconsin as a repair tech, which gives her great insight on how hearing aids work. She attends frequent trainings on hearing aid technology to keep up with the latest technology to help patients hear the best they can. In her spare time she enjoys card making, scrapbooking, and jewelry making when she is not spending time with her husband and son. She is looking forward to bringing her expertise to the residents of the Great Falls area and helping them along their journey toward better hearing.
Carol Zielinske is a transplant to Montana from Wyoming. Carol started with The Hearing Place in the summer of 2016. She has worked in the service environment most of her life, from managing a grocery store to having her own coffee roasting company. She came to us from a medical facility in Great Falls, although she lives north of Great Falls in Dutton. She enjoys being around people and helping them reach their full potential. Suffering from a hearing loss herself, she is pleased to be able to share her hearing aid experience with our patients and let them know that they have come to the right place for their hearing needs.
Carol enjoys the outdoors with her rescue dogs and gets to the mountains and her favorite fishing spots as often as possible.

"Thank you for your kindness, Pat and Sue. I can't thank you enough for your help. I am referring to the hearing aid for my mother-in-law, Ellen. It was such a blessing, for both of us."

"I have been doing business with The Hearing Place and Pat Fournier for many years and have purchased all of my hearing aids from him. My wife has Parkinson’s disease, and consequently, her voice is almost a whisper.
Even with my state-of-the-art hearing aids, I was having trouble understanding her. Pat suggested trying a new system that consists of a transmitter unit worn by my wife and a receiver unit for me that picks up her voice and transmits it to my hearing aids through my receiver. What a godsend for both of us, and we are so grateful to Pat for his thoughtfulness and understanding of our problem. I would never do business for hearing aids with anyone but Pat Fournier."
~ Jerry from Lewistown, Montana
